Head of Security

• Identify and prioritise security threats, and agree on how to handle them with management
• Write and enforce security policies and procedures
• Onboard and manage security engineers as well as collaborate with engineers from other departments
• Implement security controls across applications, infrastructure, SaaS and networks, together with the engineering teams
• Run internal security tests and drills, and coordinate external penetration tests
• Lead incident response and build threat detection capabilities (SIEM)
• Maintain compliance with the applicable regulations
• Run security awareness training and keep stakeholders informed of security decisions

Mandatory
 

• 5+ years in information security
• Hands-on experience in regulated industries, such as finance, healthcare, or others. Experience with formal audits.
• Experience with security frameworks such as ISO 27001 or NIST CSF 
• Knowledge of DORA or similar EU financial regulations
• Practical experience with application, cloud (AWS), and network security
• Experience running incident response and working with SIEM tools
• Ability to write clear security policies and explain risks to non-technical people
• Comfortable with a hands-on role in a small team
• Good understanding and experience of using modern AI tools, a track record of automating security-related tasks
• Fluent English and Russian

Nice to Have

• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, OSCP or PCI ISA/QSA
• Experience coordinating penetration tests and remediation
• Experience with threat modeling and risk assessment methods (e.g. STRIDE)
• Understanding of secure software development practices
• Experience in managing a security team
