We’re looking for a QA Engineer / QA Lead to own quality across our products - with a primary focus on Connect.

In this role, you’ll drive the QA strategy end-to-end: define and maintain test scenarios, build automated coverage (e2e, API, contract, load), perform hands-on manual testing for new flows and UI/UX quality, and ensure production releases meet a high bar before deployment. Over time, you’ll help scale QA across teams by improving processes, mentoring developers and QAs, and shaping how we build reliable software from day one.

• Design and implement testing strategy for your projects. In the short term we expect you to do hands-on work, but in the long term you should own the QA strategy, including hiring additional QAs if needed. 
• Maintain test scenarios for your projects based on functional and non-functional requirements
• Set up and develop automated tests for e2e, API, contract and load testing
• Perform manual testing to test new flows, assess UI/UX quality and visual regressions 
• Establish an issue triage process and create issues for developers
• Assess the quality of production releases before deployment, participate in go/no-go discussions
• Improve the QA process across the whole development cycle: mentor developers to perform better testing, guide them in writing their tests, mentor other QAs
• You will be mostly responsible for the Connect project, but other assignments will come up as well. You will need to drive and align QA practices across different teams

Must-Have

• Experience with creating test strategies and implementing them across multiple teams
• Interest in learning the business domain and the scope of the products
• Experience with modern e2e testing platforms like Cypress or Playwright. 
• Experience with setting up automated testing pipelines with Github, Azure Devops, Gitlab or other platforms
• Experience with databases to verify the data 
• Understanding of APIs (services, methods, status codes, protocols) and how to interact with them
• Being able to collaborate with other tech teams, business teams and external partners
• Experience with using AI tools for test automation or coding 
• Fluent English

Nice to Have

• Experience with security and load testing
• Being able to do basic code review and understand application logic
• Experience in FinTech in the banking and payments domain
• Experience with Azure Devops
• Experience with AWS or other cloud providers
• Fluent Russian
