Senior Product Manager

Riga
Apply

At Libernetix, we’re revolutionizing global payments by blending cutting-edge technology with deep industry expertise. Our solutions empower businesses to scale seamlessly across jurisdictions. If you thrive at the intersection of product, technology, and operations, we’d love to hear from you!

As Senior Product Manager, you will own Connect, our back-office payments platform, end-to-end, from discovery and roadmap to requirements, delivery and performance tracking. You will work closely with Finance, Risk, Ops and Commercial, as well as engineering and QA, to turn their needs into clear specs and well-prioritised releases. You will build compliance and security into the product by design and make sure every backlog decision is backed by data.

Responsibilities

  • Backlog ownership and value scoring (Product V4!C9) - owns the Connect backlog and applies one consistent value-scoring model. Breaks epics into stories and grooms the backlog with engineering and QA.
  • Requirements and documentation (C8) - gathers requirements from stakeholders and writes PRDs, functional specs and acceptance criteria, validated before build.
  • Roadmap management (C7) - maintains the 6-12 month Connect roadmap, prioritised by value, feasibility, risk and urgency, and sequenced across dependencies.
  • Stakeholder management (C6) - runs regular syncs with Finance, Risk, Ops and Commercial and settles priority conflicts with data.
  • Product discovery (C12) - interviews internal users, prototypes, and writes discovery briefs and business cases.
  • Delivery and release (C11) - plans sprints with engineering, tracks progress and removes blockers. Runs UAT against the acceptance criteria and coordinates rollouts.
  • Compliance, legal and security by design (C15) - builds compliance and security checks into the product lifecycle with Legal, Compliance and Security, and keeps audit trails.
  • Documentation and knowledge management (C10) - maintains Connect user guides, FAQs and internal process docs.
  • Product performance tracking (C18) - defines Connect metrics, runs the dashboard and feeds the insights back into the backlog.

Requirements

  • 4+ years as Product Owner / Product Manager in payments or fintech, ideally back-office (settlements, reconciliation, chargebacks, fees).
  • Strong business analysis: writes specs with acceptance criteria, edge cases and audit/access rules. Uses SQL to check data independently. Works in Jira daily (epics, backlog, JQL) and uses AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) in daily work for specs, analysis and research.
  • Fluent English and Russian. Owns priorities and trade-offs with Finance, Risk and Engineering, and says no with data instead of escalating everything.

Nice to have

  • PCI DSS, card scheme rules or compliance-by-design experience
  • BI and data stack (Superset, BigQuery), plus experience defining product KPIs and adoption metrics
  • Process mapping and prioritisation frameworks (BPMN, WSJF)
